Our goal is to provide design and consultation that fits the needs of the client and that also are most appropriate for the site.  We offer services to commercial and suburban areas, as well as broad-scale designs for farms, ranches, and retreats.  Our specialty is designing and installing edible landscapes and food forests, and providing consultation and support for these systems.

Home and local food production is one of the answers to solving a global climate crisis.  Food is transported thousands of miles from the field to supermarkets, relying on cheap petroleum and subsidies to keep the price down.  Meanwhile, our air and water is being polluted by diesel exhaust and synthetic agricultural chemicals. 

Who doesn’t appreciate fresh fruit and vegetables from their own property?  Or from the office courtyard for that matter?  By producing our own food locally, we not only protect our air and water, but our families and our health as well. 

Our landscape designs incorporate the use of edible varieties whenever suitable.  We also offer complete native and drought tolerant planting options.  We always design for diversity and aesthetics.
